Tanya McLeish
OsteopathyHealth and Wellbeing for the Entire Family
On the first visit, Tanya will take down detailed information about the symptoms you are experiencing, your past medical history, and your general health. She will then fully assess your posture, spine, muscle tone and joint movements to make a diagnosis. The consultation takes 30 minutes.
Tanya will then let you know what her findings are, whether treatment is appropriate and how many sessions it is likely to take. Occasionally treatment is not appropriate and you may need to be referred to your gp or another health professional.
Your treatment with Tanya may include mobilisation of joints, deep tissue massage and other gentle hands on techniques that relieve pain and increase mobility. Cranial osteopathy is another technique that Tanya uses, which is safe and gentle - therefore this is often used when treating babies, children and during pregnancy.
